Freedom(1/2)
First listen and then ahe questions.
1. What is the real ang of freedo?
2. How to obta such freedo?
It is not only true that ost people entirely isuand Freedo, but I sotis thk I have not yet t one person whhtly uands it. The whole Universe is absote Law. To the degraded or undeveloped—and even to too any others—the thought of freedo is a thought of escapg fro w—which, of urse, is ipossible. More precio than all worldly riches is Freedo—freedofrothepafulnstipationandpoornarrownessof elesiasticis—freedoanners, habilts, furniture, fro the silless and tyranny of local fashioire freedo fro party rgs and re ionsPolitid better than all, a general freedo of oneself fro the tyrannic doation of vices, habits, appetites, under whiearly every an of , (often the greatest brawler for freedo), is ensved.we atta sufranchisent—the true Deocracy, and the height of it? While we are fro birth to death the subjects of irresistible w, enclosg every ovent and ute, we yet escape, by a paradox, to true free will. Strange as it ay see, we only atta to freedo by a knowledge of, and iplicit obedieo Law. Great—unspeakably great—is the Will! The free Soul of an! At its greatest, uandg and obeyg the ws, itthen, and then only, ata true liberty. For there is to the highest, that w as absote as any—ore absote than any—the Law of Liberty. The shallow, as tiated, nsider liberty a release fro all w, fro every nstrat. The wise seeit, orary, the potent w of Laws, naly, the fion and bation of the nscio will, or partial dividual w, with those universal, eternal, unnscio ones, which run through all Ti, pervade history, prove iortality, give oral purpose to the entire objective world, and the st dignity to huan life.
