那就当我从未写过，也从未有人真正爱过。

Which alters when it alteration fds,

Or bends with the reover to reove.

Oh, no! It is an ever-fixed ark,

That looks os and is never shaken;

It is the star to every wanderg bark,

Whose worth’s unknown, although his height be taken.

Love’s not Ti’s fool, though rosy lips and cheeks

With his bendg sickle’s pass e;

Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,

But bears it out even to the edge of doo.

If this be error, and uponproved,

I never writ, nor no an ever loved.

作品赏析

诗人认为，爱应当是“永远屹立的灯塔”，指引迷舟的明星，真正的爱情应该能经受时间和磨难的考验。挫折、苦难中携手走过才是真正的爱情。“若是一看见人家的改变便转舵，或者一看见人家转弯便离开。”这就算不上真正的爱，是对爱的玷污。这才是诗人理想中的爱情。
