How sweet the answer Echo akes

To Mic at night

When, roed by te or horn, she wakes,

And far away o’er wns and kes

Goes answerg light!

Yet love hath echoes truer far

And far ore sweet

Than e’er, beh the oonlight’s star,

Of horn or te or soft guitar

The songs repeat.

’T is when the sigh,— youth Scere

And only then,

The sigh that’s breathed for oo hear—I

s by that ohat only Dear,

Breathed back aga.
